I presume you have all the details of when they moved to Manchester such as the second marriage to Catherine Mcevoy with further children Thomas 1838 and Edward 1841. The marriages of sons Charles and Evans -as seen in Lancashire BMD - and the estimated death of the father Charles in 1844.

The father was first married to Elizabeth Callister who died 1821 aged 37, she is the mother of Charles and Evans. Charles senior appears to be the son of Thomas Skealley and Eleanor Kewin ch1784, Thomas then marries Ann Kelly in 1787.

There is a will in Manx Notebook 1799 for Thomas showing all the children.

When searching you need to use all the variations of the name Skelley , Skelly Skeallee, Skeally etc.
