Elizabeth's marriage to William Towsend pre-dated the 1849 Marriage Act and their age - occupation -address - and their father's name and occupation are not shown on the Marriage Certificate.

I am assuming that she found employment & a husband while working in a hotel or a boarding house in Douglas. As did two of her sisters - Jane (Kelly) & Leonora (Terry).

William Townsend/Townend was a brazier and I assume he came to the I.O.M. to work in Gelling's Foundary, Douglas. Unfortunately the records of the workmen do not go back that far.
