Re: Goldsmith/Quayle
In Response To: Goldsmith/Quayle ()

Doug, your question was:
"Can anyone confirm that Evelyn Frances Quayle married Henry Walter Goldsmith in 1917 R Lez 185. BLs list indicates that alternative partners could have been John William Caine OR Isabella Craine".

Brian's index actually has:
GOLDSMITH, Henry Walter 1917 R lez 185 [with the alternative brides as being] CRAINE, Isabella OR QUAYLE, Evelyn Frances C.

So the Evelyn Frances Clifford Quayle b 1884 who Jean found corresponds with the second one.

If you look up QUAYLE, Evelyn Frances C 1917 R lez 185 on his index the alternative husbands were CAINE, John William and GOLDSMITH, Henry Walter.

So we can assume that the second couple on the same page in the register volume as Henry Walter Goldsmith & Evelyn F C Quayle were CAINE, John William & CRAINE, Isabella.

There is a long thread about your family in the archives for this message board at: tinyurl.com/3nqhrlz
but I can't see where Elizabeth Kermeen fits in? Did we ever discuss her?
