Subject: Sgt Fred Corlett
Debbie Wallace on 7/6/2006 was trying to trace information on Sgt Fred Corlett DFM who was killed on a night flight in an Anson.
Fred Corlett was my mother's cousin, the son of my Great Aunt Dollie who had a boarding house on the sea front in Douglas. My grandmother was a Corlett from Ramsey and the family are all buried in Maughold Church.
Fred was honoured by the Manx authorities as the first to be decorated with a DFM. His mother was a great character who I remember vividly and there used to be extensive Corlett and Christian surnamed relatives in the Isle of Man
