I am trying to trace my grandfathers line(Stuart Douglas Bridson b:1928 Michigan) that started in IOM and ended up in Michigan. I am new at this and would greatly appreciate any help I can get. So far, this is what I have...

Richard Bridson (1828-1890) married Jane Moore b:1837 d: abt 1861 They came to america about 1855 and settled in Newburg Ohio and later in South Lyon Michigan. I have an old typed paper that my grandfather kept that said Richard and Jane had 3 children Richard Moore b: October 22, 1856, Edward and Robert (no birth dates) It also goes on to say that Jane died when Richard was 5 (1861) while visiting her mother's people in England. Then Richard married Mary H. Wood (they called her Molly) and they had James,George,John(died when he was small) and Lizzie.
Richard Moore Bridson(1856-1923) he married Martha Augusta Fuller they had 10 children.
