I was wondering if anybody could help me with my research. I'm looking for the parents of Annie Maxwell born Ramsey 1875. In the next census after her birth, 1881 and the one after, 1891 it shows her living with her grandparents Patrick and Cecellia Maxwell who lived on College Street, Ramsey. Annie was raised RC but married my G, grandfather Joseph Salthouse in 1899 who was C of E. Shortly after they moved to fleetwood, England where they lived the rest of their lives. I am aware civil registration was brought out a couple of years later but was wondering if there would of been any RC records of her birth? It could be a possibility see was illigetamate, but if this is the case does anybody know which one of Patricks daughters was her mother? I hope somebody can help me get over this family tree brick wall. Thank you. Adrian Smith.
