Well , that's my return home to IOM over for at least another year. It went so quickly. Had one visit to the new imuseum to look up 2 obituaries. However, it took me 2 hours going through 4 newspapers & not 100% sure of the actual week - found nothing. How would I find out if someone died in the former Ballamona hospital? Rest of time doing research was in the Manx museum & this visit I managed to glean some info from wills which I have not done before. Still no luck with Ann (Mylrea?) md to John Kelly. Only Ann given for the chr of their children so she still remains a mystery. Only got through about a third of my list as we also visit friends & Family. Got to Rushen, Malew & Patrick churchyards & took photos & the sun shone on each visit! Last year it was wet & windy every day. Peel beach was filled with families & reminded me of my childhood making sandcastles & paddling etc. Had our usual kipper bap & cup of tea at the factory down by Peel harbour. Found out that the kippers are smoked / cured there but the actual herrings are not fished by the Manx fishermen these days - imported from Scandinavia probably. That info might bore some but I think some people might be interested . KayN
