Thanks for doing that check. I would assume that in those days, one wouldn't delay burying an individual shortly after their death. As it turns out, the Thomas Kermode from Lonan, who died in Lancashire in July 1877 was married to Rebecca (Williams) Kermode who was born in Patrick and returned there with her two children (Thomas Edward Jr. and Mary Ellen) to stay with her mother (1881 census), after her husband's death. So other than the Age at death ("my" Thomas would have been 25) and the delayed burial it might have been possible.
