Hi Joan. Didn't you say in your first message that Alice was b.1878? This was why I thought b.1879 was close enough. I thought you had based that date on her age in the 1881 census where she appears to have a twin brother. I didn't find a bapt or a birth for either of them. Where did you find these, and what were the exact details? And where is her second name given as May rather than just M?
