I am just starting to research my mother's Manx family and am interested to find out why my grandmother FLORENCE LOUISA McLean nee CORRIS (died 28 Nov 1965) went to Canada as a child. Her mother was FLORENCE MAY CORLETT (died 25 Nov 1967) and as they had different surnames, I am guessing this is a result of my great grandmother having a later second marriage.
