After some thirty five years I successfully googled my schooldays penfriend. I googled her name, and a name I recognised as a close relation came up eventually (I mean I tried from time to time over a long period, but as you know, more and more is available all the time). I had to join face book to contact that relation, said who I was, and bingo! We occasionally catch up with the news, and both recognised each other on photos. Patience. Incidently we all live in very far flung places, with totally different lifestyles, but google helped.
