On the new family search you need to sign in in order to access the parent search option. Once you sign in click on advanced search. On the left side is a drop down box which has 2 options spouse or parents. if you click on parents the boxes appear so you search like on the original site. Hope this helps. there is no charge to register but does give more access to the site.
