The problem is that the date is too recent for most online records from the IOM. There is only one David McLaughlin in Brian Lawson's census indexes up to 1901. His burial indexes also show Elizabeth's burial in Lezayre? If so, perhaps her husband moved to Braddan after her death. However Ramsey burials are not included in his index.

It would probably be easiest to order his death cert for the date you found to see whether it is the right person. See "Contacts" at: www.gov.im/registries/general/civilregistry/
