In the 1851 Isle of Man census, Thomas Vondy , his wife Elinor Vondy and their children, Esther(7) and Thomas(5) were living with William Callow (Elinor's father), retired carpenter, at 61 Church Street. I am investigating the family history of James Callow (1831-1900), jeweller of Ramsey, and think there may be a link with the descendents of Thomas and Elinor Vondy.
