Quayle Ballaugh c 1870 who spoke no English until he started school at age 7; John Kneen c 1853 the Gaaue; John Dan Kinvig & wife Sage Jane Ronague; Thomas Callister 1860 Peel & Harry Boyde Ballaugh 1868; Eleanor Karran 1870 Cregneish ; Harry Kelly Cregneish ; Bnr Lowey 1869 Kirkle; Bnr Watterson Colby 1860 & Bnr Kermode ; Charles Kneale & wife Bride born 1857 & 1864; Juan Comish 1887 C'towmm died in Ontario; John Thomas Kaighen Bride 1863; Ned Maddrell last native speaker 1877 & John Gawne.

What does Bnr mean in front of the women ' s surnames? Must be something simple but my brain is not helping me. Also in the simple phrases I fancy saying 'Goodbye' in Manx now. Bannaght eu - Any help with phonetic pronunciation would be gratefully received.
