After manyyears of searching I have found Robert Kelly,(Killey) aged 9, in The Hospital, Fort Street, in the 1871 census.

I know he was blinded as 'a young man' in a mining accident.
(I wrongly thought he'd be about 17-20 yrs)

I assume that there would have been something written about this in the local papers.
Does anybody know when the Manx papers will be 'on line' for general use....not just at the iMuseum?
