Having difficulty finding out exactly who Mary Ellen Watterson is. In Rushen census 1881 aged 1 & 1891 aged 11 says granddaughter to William W & Ann (nee Lowey). I have found 2 christenings for a Mary Ellen Watterson - one to Margaret W (father not given) & one to Thomas W & his wife Ellen (nee Gawne). Margaret could tally as she is not with the family in 1881 but would be 21 years old. I cannot as yet find William W & Ann (nee Lowey) as parents to a Thomas Watterson - can anyone else find these parents for Thomas please ? Thomas md Ellen Gawne in 1878 Rushen & went on to have several more chn after Mary Ellan. What happened to Margaret after 1871 if she did have an illig daughter ? Thanks for any help.
