Liz, I had a quick look for the Liverpool family you were researching last year, and in the Catholic baptisms there are a number of children recorded with the parents "Bernardi" (Bernard) Cain & "Brigidae" (Bridget) Doherty. Including Joannes b.1 Oct 1895 & bapt on the 6th; Robertus b.4 March 1897 & bapt 10th; Maria Anna b.1 March 1898 bapt 5th; Catharina b.13 April 1901 bapt 22nd; Maria b.11 July 1904 bapt 12th.

I didn't look at marriages and burials or the other records, and I'll be very interested to see what you find!
