Would anyone know if enlistment records still exist for the Royal Manx Fencibles soldiers who joined in Ireland? My ancestor, Edward Kingsley, first appears as an Ensign in 1798 in the Second Corps and then as the Corps surgeon later the same year. I am searching for more information about his origins which I know to be in the Tipperary/Offaly/Laois area of Ireland. Would appreciate any help in finding his enlistment documents. Many thanks.
