In order for our "house of cards" to fit, John Cowley needs to die before Ann Kneale was b abt 1830.
One of the best looking candidates I see is John Cowley who was buried in Michael 22 Nov 1827. Burial register gives no additional info and of course there isn't an MI. The will 1828 Michael A 29 0106245 may be his--maybe someone can take a look at it for us.

I don't have the 1841 census but it looks like Ann Kneale 11 is living in Michael with Cath Cowley 50 and Jane Cowley 16 (she who md John Quayle). I didn't see any John Cowley in this family nor John Kneale nor Margaret Kneale, latter two in 1851 census.
Maybe someone could find the actual entries for us.

John Kneale in the 1851 KM census at age 46 was b @ 1805. There is a John Kneale ch 8 Dec 1805 Andreas s/o Philip Kneale and Margaret Cowley who md 24 Feb 1805 Michael. Do you suppose Margaret Cowley is related to "our" John?
