Unfortunately they have removed the option to answer any messages not on this "Live Forum" when the message board was updated. At the time (about Jan.), people writing to the message board suggested copying the whole of the old message and pasting it to a new message, and checking the Profiles to see if the original poster had left an email address so that you could notify them.

As well as copying their message please include the original Subject heading and date of posting so that anyone answering you will be able to find the thread in the archives.

Even if you can't find the original poster's email address someone else reading your new message might know who they are and let them know, or they might still be checking the board.
