If this proves to be your family tree, I have quite a bit more info on the line of Jane Caine 1837 ?mo John Henry. Can go back several generations.
And this is only the lineage of Jane Caine
We still have to see who was Robert Caine, JH's fa--he may be of yet another Caine line or perhaps another twig of this Caine line.

When I first started IOM research many yrs ago, my friend had 2 Caine lines. Turned out one came from the oldest brother and the other came from the youngest brother, i.e. they were cousins, not all that unusual in previous times.
Hope we can figure out who Robert is.
