Hi,

Am wondering if someone may know correct birth info for a Catherine Moore, daughter of Thomas Moore and Anne Shimmin who married William Crellin on 20 Jul 1844, age listed on marriage was 17. Christening record for this Catherine is listed as being 9 Aug 1829 Patrick, however in the christening document it also says born 10" Oct rec" 9 - not sure if Oct is correct because document was hard to read, also says alleged to be privately baptized by the Rev T Kewley

1841 census lists her age as 14, Class: HO107; Piece 1465; Book: 9; Civil Parish: Patrick; County: Isle of Man; Enumeration District: 3; Folio: 35; Page: 8; Line: 1; GSU roll: 464357.

This would make her born about 1827, which would make some sense with the age of 17 at time of marriage.
