I'm just going by what was on Ancestry.com. My husband's father is Ross Oscar Mann, born in 1933. His father is: Ros(s) Oscar Mann born 1899 in Kansas. His father is Albert E Mann 1857-1935 born in Illinois.....His father is: Thomas V Mann 1825-1885 born Isle of Man. Albert's mother is: Sarah Adams born about 1825 Isle of Man. They immigrated sometime before 1857 to America as Albert was born in Illinois. I have looked on the Ellis Island lists, and they just list single names....not married couples. And just list general area they are from ie: England, it doesn't go into detail on what area of England they are from. Both Thomas & Sarah passed in Illinois.

I have just hit a road block when I get to these names. I found this site hoping someone could shed some light on the names if any one had any information.
