William ARMSTRONG, Wesleyan Lay Preacher

Hi,
I have just discovered that my Step Gt. Grandfather William ARMSTRONG born c1878/9 in Ireland/Scotland, living
on the IOM where he married my Gt. Grandma Florence KNEALE in 1905, was a Wesleyan Lay Preacher.
Are there any sites or does anyone know how I can find out about him ?
I was wondering if there is a list of some sort which might give his name?
He possibly preached at Foxdale as this was where he lived.

Also, his youngest child Dorothy Jane b. 1907 was not on the 1911 Census living with her mother at The Lion, Marown, but was apparently, being looked after by a local farmer at Foxdale?
Later when another son Leslie Clifford ARMSTRONG was born in 1914, he too went to this farm at some point to be looked after.
Is there some way I can find out about this?

William himself was not with his family at The Lion, Marown so maybe, as his occupation was Lead Miner, could he have been
at another Mine on the island and therefore be a boarder somewhere, say at Lonan or other??
Any ideas or suggestions would be very welcome,
Thank you,
Kindest Regards,
Carol
