John Quine family of Montville and Cleveland, son of William Quine and Ann Christory
John Quine (William - Ann Christory) was christened at Onchan, October 5, 1804, and died (drowned) in Cleveland January 11, 1850. He married, in Geauga County, February 6, 1828, Ann Garrett, probably the daughter of Philip Garrett of Montville. Ann was born in the Isle of Man, about 1810, and died of consumption, in Cleveland, May 16, 1868, age 57.

There is a probate listing for John Quine (E 1850, Case number:1303; 6051289. but I haven't checked it out.
Children of Ann Garrett and John Quine: born in Ohio (John, Ann, William, and the two infants are all buried on the same lot in Erie Street Cemetery, Cleveland, which places them in the same family)
i. George Quine was born in Ohio, about 1830. He returned to Ballaugh, and (inherited ?) the family farm after the death of his father’s youngest brother, Robert Quine. He is in Ohio with his mother in 1860, but back in Ballaugh in 1861, “proprietor of lands” Is he the George Quine buried at Ballaugh April 4, 1875, age 44?.
ii. Henry Quine was born about 1833.
iii William Quine was born about 1837, and died of consumption, in Cleveland, November 23, 1860, age 23.
iv. child Quine died of consumption, in Cleveland, and was buried at Erie Street Cemetery, September 13, 1845, age 5mo.
v. Louisa Quine died of measles, in Cleveland, and was buried at Erie Street Cemetery, September 4, 1847, age 1.
vi. Abigail Quine was born about 1847. Is she the Abbie Quinn (sic) who married, in Cuyahoga County, September 18, 1865, Oliver E. Beach?
