William ARMSTRONG & Douglas Corporation

Hi,
I am trying to find out if any records exist for Personel who worked for the DCB c1920's.
William ARMSTRONG was a Lead Miner when he married Florence, KNEALE at Foxdale, 1905.
A number of years later he worked for the Douglas Corporation, in what capacity, not sure, possibly at the Douglas Borough Cemetery.
I have had lots of help trying to find him, but nothing has panned out so far.
To date I only have his Marriage and Death certs as I don't know where he was born.
Family say either Galway in Ireland or Galloway, Scotland.
So I'm still struggling to find the whereabouts of my Step Grandfather.
Other family members are also looking, like me they have had no success.

Florence and children are on the 1911 Census, at Lion, Marown - unfortunately William Sr. is not at home.
KNEALE, Florence C. (1887 - 1923)
ARMSTRONG, John N.K. (1903 - 1967) b. Foxdale.
ARMSTRONG, Ivy M. (1906 - 1995) b. Foxdale.
ARMSTRONG, William A. (1908 - 1995) b. Lonan.

There was another child, ARMSTRONG, Dorothy Jane born at Foxdale in 1907, to William & Florence
( still living ) but not with her parents on 1911 Census.
After the census was taken, Florence gave birth to another son:
ARMSTRONG, Thomas Douglas b. 1911 at Marown, IOM
He died in Sep 1924 - Drowned off North Quay, Douglas Harbour.
So, if anyone can give me a few pointers as to where to look next my family and I would be very grateful.
Kindest Regards,
Carol
