Donna, I cannot thank you enough for this information. It has opened new doors, for sure.
I also thought Robert Corkan may have been the son of Elizabeth Hinds, but a later USA census shows his birth as Dec 1867 and Elizabeth died earlier in the year. He is also listed as a boarder in the home, and not a grandson of Eleanor Hinds.

Robert's parents passed on (or moved on) between 1867 and 1871. Still a mystery.
