I just want to thank all contributors to my search, huge help and my Mum is really enjoying the info I am passing on to her. She is 81 this year, and after the loss of my Dad in 2006 I think she felt a little adrift. This has lifted her spirits! My Mum was daughter of Doris Edith Wotton (nee Starkey), Daughter of William Starkey & Edith Smith, William son of Margaret Lewin & James Starkey. I still have not been able to find when William left Isle of Man, or find him on any passenger lists entering NZ. If anyone has any suggestions that I could start detecting I would be most grateful.
