In communicating with Eileen S re Creer/Dickinson/etc, I learned that a Thomas Caine of "The Strang" emigrated to Australia abt 1838/9. His daughter, Sarah Jane, seems to have md Joseph Creer in AU in 1848--Joseph was s/o Edward Creer and Sarah Dickinson who we've been discussing down the board in a string about Wm Caine 1827.
Thomas Caine seems to have md Jane Christian 26 Aug 1815 Braddan. I'm trying to figure out which Cain(e) line he is from.
Any ideas anyone?
