Searching for information on Thomas Christian, born on the Isle of Man in 1794, d. Ohio, USA, 1882. Immigrated to Nova Scotia around 1820 and had a family in Tracadie, NS with Sarah Stevens (B. 1807 Glasgow, Scotland -1905 Ohio, USA). They were married in Canada, and she was a daughter of one the "shipbuilding Stephens" family of Scotland.

This family had 12 kids, the known ones are: Charles M. (b. abt 1823-after 1912 CA, USA), Moses (b. abt 1827) , Margaret (b. abt 1830), Catherine (1835-1911, married John Pero), Thomas, Anna (1844-1915, married Servilian Fish), David 1845-1922 married Amalia Ecker), John W. (1847-1909, married Florence Meng), Allen (b. abt 1850).

The family moved from Nova Scotia to Whitby, Ontario some time before the 1852 census. I believe they emigrated from there to the Cleveland, Ohio area in the mid 1850s. Any information regarding the parentage or likely place of residence on the IOM, or suggestions for where to look for this information, would be much appreciated.
