Thanks Sue. I had searched IGI and couldn't find any reference to her but that's my grandmother. She was always known to my family as Mary Eleanor but her death certificate states that she was 'known as Mary Ann'. My mother's 2nd name was Eleanor so it all fits.
She did marry George Joseph Radcliffe and had a bunch of kids. George died in Toxteth Park in 1901 and Mary married my grandfather in 1904. I'll send for the christening and marriage certificates and see what develops.
