Supposedly we go back to a Nich Kewley born about 1673 in Kirk German, and who married a Margaret Quilliam. Our Kewleys come from Kirk German / Eary Lhane / Cooilsleau area. The Kewley who took the DNA test goes back to Kirk Marown.

As I recall, my brother was toured around the Isle of Man some years ago by a Ralph Kewley, who I believe said there were the three Kewley families that were not related, particularly not to the Kewleys in the north part of the island. However, I believe we have a report of some of our Kewleys going north to work. I'll post more if I find out more from my brother.
