I am researching J R Kirby- a name on St Andrew's
Presbyterian [ now URC ] church war memorial.
Unfortunately I cannot find a CWGC record lots of
Kirbys but only one GR medal card which may not be correct.Does anyone claim this family?
A John Kirby m Elizabeth Coquhon1846 Braddan &
baptised a son, St Matthew's 1852-George Richard.
He married in ManchesterSept 1874 & died aged
35 leaving a son ??? born between '81& '88. G R
jun?? He apparently came" home"--another printer like the previous Kirbys? Did IOM newspapers have their own war memorials?
