The IGI also has an extracted record for the same person and parents "Christening: About 08 OCT 1811 Kirk German". It is unusual to have "about" for a baptism from records extracted from the parish register, because either it was recorded on that date or it wasn't, but perhaps the transcriber was in the habit of writing "about" for births (taken from a bapt) and it was a slip of the pen.
