Many thanks, Donna.
Craig, the 1851 census for Ramsey, Stephens Lane, has: Robert Corkill, Head, Mar., 54, Ostler, b.Lezayre, wife Jane 52 b. Bride, son John 20 Blacksmith b.Ramsey, son Philip 16 Ostler b.Ramsey, son Wm 13 Scholar b.Ramsey, daur Ellen 11 Scholar b.Ramsey, daur Eliza 8 Scholar b.Ramsey.
Jane Goldsmith bapt 16 Mar.1796 Bride, daur of Phi GOLDSMITH & Mary CHRISTIAN ? [IGI extracted record].
There is no obvious bapt in Lezayre on the IGI for Robert Corkill b.c.1797/8 - only Robt bapt 19 Mar.1797 Maughold son of Wm CORKILL & Elinor HUTCHEN.
When looking at names, they did have a son William bapt Ramsey 25 May 1836, and of course daur Ellen/Eleanor, so that bapt is a possibility, even though not in Lezayre. Ramsey town is partly in Lezayre and partly in Maughold parishes.
