As I said the IGI is based on the official 1911 copy of the parish regs - over the last 6 months or so the original parish registers have been filmed - I would expect very few corrections to the official copy tho the IGI transcription is not always good - however having worked with original records I dread to think of the utter confusion inexperience will lead to - it's bad enough with just the imagination of mormon patrons in inventing records in the IGI, now it will be full of misread items.
