In 1891 Census Josua Broughton is a CHina Dealer and William Broughton is a China Dealer. One in Ramsey, other in Douglas.

William inherited the business from his father Samuel who appered in the 51 census as a CHina Dealer. Joshua didnt arrive, from Barnoldswick Yorks, until later.

There are a number of other Broughtons who drop in/out oc Manx census 1841-1911
