Julia Longford Mellor married Thomas Phillip Christian 1851, Ballaugh Church. Her father was John Longford Mellor, Esq. Of Wrexham, Denbigh, North Wales. I found this in the Manx Sun, dated 9/20/1851.

I am wondering if the Longford name has connections with Longford County in Ireland.

Is this "off the beaten path" for this message board, since the connection to IoM is Thomas Phillip Christian?
