I recently bought leters written from Portugal by Francis Wheelhouse to his former partner, Abraham De La Pryme, at the cotton mill.
I'm curious to know why they chose the Island, apart from being free from Arkwright's patent. Were the De La Prymes there before the mill was built in conjunction with the Deemster?
