Hi
Does anybody know anything about Anne Quirk, born in Jurby abt 1819, died in Patrick Nov 1886. She married Daniel Creer 5 Nov 1848, Kirk Braddan.
On the census forms she is listed:
1851 - HO107/2523 - Church Street, Peel
Daniel Creer - Head - 27 - Shoemaker - IOM Braddan
Ann Creer - Wife - 32 - ... - IOM Jurby
Daniel Creer - Son - 2 - ... - IOM Braddan
1861 - RG9/4420 - Knockbane, German
Daniel Creer - Head - 37 - Shoemaker - IOM Braddan
Ann Creer - Wife - 42 - Shoemakers Wife - IOM Jurby
Daniel Creer - 12 - Shoemakers son - IOM German
Catherine Creer - 9 - Shoemakers Daughter - IOM German
Eleanor Creer - 2 - Shoemakers Daughter - IOM German
1871 - RG10/5771 - Glenmaye, Patrick
Daniel Creer - Head - 48 - Shoemaker 15 Acres Farming - IOM
Ann Creer - Wife - 52 - ... - IOM
Daniel Creer - Son - 22 - Fisherman - IOM
Catherine Creer - Daughter - 19 - ... - IOM
Ellinor Creer - Daughter - 12 - Scholar - IOM
1881 - RG11/5596 - Ballalah, Patrick
Daniel Creer - Head - 56 - Farmer of 22 Acres - K Braddan
Ann Creer - Wife - 60 - Farmers Wife - Jurby
The people I'm trying to locate are Anne's parents. She says on three out of the four census returns that she was born in Jurby, and I know that the Quirk family does come from Jurby but I can't connect Anne with them.
Many Thanks
Mark
