Hi all,

I'm looking for any details on Major Paul Crebbin of the Royal Marines, particularly birthdate and parents. He served in the Marines from at least 1799 until his death on the Lord Hill in 1819.

I'm also looking for info on his brothers Phillip and Thomas who were also officers in the Marines at the same period.

Phillip died in 1805/06 serving in the Caribbean - a ship he was checking for deserters capsized and sank.

Thomas it seems was the youngest and all I know of him is that he served as an assistant to Dr Scott in Santan until at least 1795 and was (probably) on HMS Aboukir in 1813.

It has been suggested they were the children of Charles Crebbin of Santan.
