Hello Liz, hope you are well.

What I was thinking is that MNH don't have time to look at listings for folk and the only way to look at them is in person and if Glenys had a positive response I was going to ask them also.

I don't think I am going to find Alice Cox on the lists, one because it was not until c 1930s that women were eligible to vote and I don't know whether she would of voted under the name of Cox or not. I don't know if you are aware Liz but I found a newspaper article from the Isle of Man dated 1895 ish and it was alleged that the couple were not married by someone, if you remember there was no sign of a marriage on the Isle of Man or from the mainland, so I think this was possibly the case.

At the moment I am trying to find a death for her on the Isle of Man, I just think she may have had her last days there............

Your statement a few weeks ago did make me chuckle about your Cains -

Same as me then, but I count William Henry Coxes!
