My daughter (Sergeant Wade-ATC) is wishing to research the 440 (1st Manx) Squadron ATC [Air Training Corps)
It was noted that her grandfather William Penrice Wade was in that particular squadron and joined the RAF not many years later.

I would appreciate any facts or historical information regards the ATC or any information from persons who were in the 1st Manx, so that I can pass it on, as she would like to write an article about them.
