Does anyone know whether comedian Alexei Sayle (b August 1952 Liverpool) had Manx ancestors ?

His parents, Joseph Henry Sayle and Molly Mendelson, were married in 1950 in Liverpool. The only Joseph or Joseph Henry Sayle birth on the mainland which would fit is in Sep Q 1907 West Derby. There's also a Nov 1897 birth on the IOM but this child died in 1899.

Does anyone know the parents of Joseph Henry Sayle b 1907 ? Presumably he'll show up on the 1911 census.
