I have checked and Anthony Riddy (Reddy) (Ready) and Margaret Cornish seem to be correct but I can't find Thomas was the name spelt differently again?
Where did you find Thomas? He said he was born in 1816 in Douglas but on his marriage to Catherine Kelly in 1839 was living in Ramsey.
There are only a couple of Ready’s on the Island apart from the Governor and I am sure there is no connection there.
I am also looking at the shipbuilding etc on the island as Thomas grew to be a ships carpenter and later a shipwright.
