In 1806 Robert Watterson married Mary Stewart in South Leith, Scotland. At least three generations of Mary's family were from Leith. Their children Charles, Anne, James and George were all born in South Leith betwen 1810- 1818. Robert was a sailor/mariner, but I cannot find his birth or death. I was told that with the Watterson name he was most likely a Manx man. I cannot locate him on the IGI in either Scotland or IOM . Does anyone have any suggestions, please?
