A woman in OH sent me a query about her ancestors:

"My grgrgrgrandmother's name was Maria CANNELL.
She was born in Newburgh, Warrensville, Ohio on March 9, 1835.
Died June 5, 1864 and is buried in Cleveland, Ohio.

Her parents names were John S. CANNELL
Born 1802, Isle of Man
Died July 17, 1886 Newburgh, Ohio

Jane QUAYLE
Born abt. 1800, Isle of Man
Died 1898 Cleveland, Ohio

Maria's siblings:
Louisa, born 1838 in Ohio
John William CANNELL born March 1843 in Ohio
Died 1914 in Ohio

Maria married James R. Proudfoot Nov 8, 1853 in Cleveland, Ohio

I think they emigrated in the 1820's"
