The "Andreas" book, which uses the work by the late D.S.Dugdale (held in the MM), has a Ballacunner chart showing Dan Teare of Ballacunner (b.1734) marr. in 1772 Catherine Cormoad (1748-1802), daur of Pat Cormoad.

Their children are given as Dan (1775-1855) marr. 1797 Jane Joughin daur of Andrew & Joney Joughin of Balleigh Croft who farmed 38 acres at Ballacunner, and Esther (dates unknown) marr Ewan Moore of the Dhowin. They brought up Esther's gt nephew Dan Teare (bapt Andreas 1 May 1825) who emigated to America in 1853.

Sue
