Yes Sue, I have read your message to Ian, I have done my other ancestors on my family tree and they were quite easy but the Radcliffe family are very difficult.

If Charles Radcliffe 1744 who married Mary Sayle is Henry's son and as you say left the island, it would be interesting to know where he went, I did read on one record about Mary Sayle that she was born in England, so maybe he went to where her parents lived.
